What our website maintenance services include
- Updates. WordPress and your plugins, including security patches, checked after they're applied.
- Daily backups, stored in a different data centre with a separate provider from your hosting, so one problem can't take out both.
- Monitoring. Uptime and security, around the clock, plus brute force attack protection.
- A monthly audit. Speed, broken links, SSL, redirects, and your contact form and emails. We fix what we find.
- A monthly report and a dashboard that keeps every report, so you can see how the website is doing over time.
- Hosting. Your website runs on our hosting, with a content delivery network in front of it.
- UK support by phone, email and video, 10:00 to 16:00, Monday to Friday.
Better+ and Better Marketing add SEO reports, keyword tracking, content edits and 45 minutes of studio time a month for changes you want making.

There are three packages, and the prices are on the website: Better at £150 a month, Better+ at £500 and Better Marketing at £2,000, all + VAT. If the website brings in your enquiries, Better+ is the one most businesses pick. If you're not sure, book a call and we'll tell you.

How much does website maintenance cost?
Our website maintenance packages are £150, £500 and £2,000 a month + VAT. Every package includes hosting, WordPress updates, daily backups and monitoring. The bigger packages add deeper monthly checks, SEO, studio time and Google Ads. The pricing page lists everything.
What does website maintenance include?
Updating WordPress and its plugins, backing the website up every day, watching for downtime and attacks, and a monthly audit where we check the website works and fix what we find. You get a report at the end of each month.
Do you look after websites that aren't WordPress?
Better is built for WordPress websites, and that's what the monthly checks are designed around. If yours runs on something else, book a call and ask us.
What if I need more than 45 minutes in a month?
Anything over your included time is charged at our standard hourly rate. Unused minutes don't roll over to the next month. If you need regular changes, we can add studio hours to your plan at any time.
What isn't included?
Support outside 10:00 to 16:00 on weekdays, including evenings and weekends. Building new, complex features. Writing the content for your website.
Can you look after a website someone else built?
Yes, as long as it runs on WordPress. We look at it first, tell you what we find, then move it onto our hosting for you.
